This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, unwind and hang out with other lovely folks interested in meditation. We will gently explore techniques that cultivate tranquility, deep presence and compassion.
With daily mindfulness meditation instruction, gentle yoga, lots of opportunity for self-directed practice and/or free time and crystal bowl sound sessions, this retreat offers a supportive, peaceful environment for establishing or deepening your practice.
Is This For Me? This is a self-directed retreat - meaning you can practice/participate as much or little as you like. So for those new to meditation, this is a supportive, gentle space to learn about mindfulness. For more experienced practitioners, this is a great opportunity to deepen your practice in community. Outside of group activities, silence will be maintained inside the building to cultivate a very calm, introspective experience and to deepen inner quiet.

Mount Carmel
This historic Center, located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is the perfect, serene venue to support your retreat. There’s lots of free parking on the grounds, and while we encourage participants to minimize the use of electronics, free wifi. There is also a beautiful indoor labyrinth available for walking meditation.
Accommodations and Meals
All rooms are private with their own bath. On request, rooms can be shared with one queen or two single beds. Fresh, vegetarian buffet-style meals are provided, as well as a 24 hour beverage and snack lounge.
Cost, Registration & Sample Schedule
$895 plus HST = $1011 Canadian for 3 nights private accommodation, buffet-style meals and snacks, and all retreat activities. To register for the retreat, please fill out the Registration Form. Payment will be requested by January 6th. Registration closes Feb 14, (or when retreat fills).
